Boxing Angel · community server

Unofficial, fan-run server for Boxing Angel (Mono Play, 2019), whose official servers shut down in July 2019. Status: online.

The game itself is in English only. Its text lives inside the game data and only the English translation was completed, so there is no Spanish or Japanese version of the game; only this page is translated.

The current build, and the only one that gets updates. Needs Android 7 or newer, on either 64-bit or 32-bit hardware. Everything is inside the APK: no OBB to download. It installs over any previous APK and keeps your account.

Frozen build: it no longer gets updates. Use it only on phones that cannot run the recommended one (Android 5 and 6). It needs the game data (OBB, 153.1 MB), which it downloads by itself on the first run.

For people without an Android phone. Unzip the file anywhere and run "Boxing Angel.exe" (Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit; no installer). Same server and same accounts as the phone version: link your account with a username and password on the phone (padlock next to Login) and log in with it on the PC. Play with the mouse or the keyboard: Q/A jab, W/S hook, E/D uppercut, F/R dodge, hold X to block (blocking needs both buttons at once, so use X). Alt+Enter toggles full screen.

Installing on Android

Needs Android 7 (Nougat) or newer, on either 64-bit or 32-bit hardware. Only Android 5 and 6 phones need the legacy 32-bit APK above.

  1. Download and install the APK (allow "install unknown apps" if the phone asks).
  2. Open the game with an internet connection. It fetches the server configuration and shows the news; there is nothing else to download, everything is inside the APK.
  3. When it reopens it fetches the server configuration, shows the news and reaches the login screen: tap START, then Fast Login to start playing right away, or Register to pick your own name and password.
  4. Protect your character. A fast account lives only on this phone: if you uninstall the game or change phone, it is gone. On the account screen tap the padlock next to Login and give it a name and a password of your own (letters and numbers, 6 to 12 characters). Copy the game data manually (only for the legacy 32-bit APK)

Download the OBB and copy it, with that exact name, to the internal storage folder Android/obb/th.in.monogame.boxingangel/ (create it if needed). On Android 11 or newer the phone's file manager may block Android/obb: use a file manager with "all files" permission or a PC with a USB cable:
